As Layard points out, you have the power to make your own life, and you can do it. Think about every home youve ever lived in and ask yourself how you felt about it.
We live in a society where so many people can’t afford a home, but that doesn’t mean you should stop buying one. Sure, it’s a lot easier to say good-bye to a home that you dont actually live in, but why not? If you dont live there, then youre not really living there. Youre just moving. Your lifestyle may be changing, but youre still living.
